Labiaplasty

During puberty or after childbirth some women may see their labia minora become unusually large or misshapen. Dr Ballieux performs Labiaplasty. This condition can terribly affect a women self-esteem.

In some individuals the labia minora (the inner frond of tissue) can be quite large and redundant creating both a cosmetic and sometimes even a functional concern.

Surgical labial reduction, also called labiaplasty, can greatly improve the aesthetic appearance of the female genitalia, and alleviate the discomfort and embarrassment that may accompany excess labial tissue.

It relieves the irritation and discomfort during sexual activity and athletics (such as bicycling, spinning), and while wearing fitted pants (yoga) or bathing suits. After menopause we can lose the labia majora fullness. This procedure can also restore the contour of the Labia Majora.
